If you produce more than 200kg of WEEE (see below the 10 different categories of WEEE), this equates to 10 old systems (monitor, keyboard, mouse and tower) per annum.

YOU WILL NEED TO REGISTER AS THE PRODUCER

Please do not panic, we are an award winning Re-Cycling Company based in Knowsley. We can offer an entire solution to WEEE waste. We can register your details as a producer before we collect any waste items, once this is done you are issued with your own Premises code, this enables waste transfer to take place, using our own registered waste carrier to transfer the waste to us in Knowsley at our secure site. Evidence notes are issued and the waste is officially consigned to us. Once registration is complete any further waste transfers will be significantly lower because you have already registered as the producer.

We run our own Waste Transfer Station are able to issue evidence notes proving your compliance with the new WEEE Directive. (In short WEEE is defined as any equipment with a plug or uses a battery).Please be careful not to print the whole directive it is about 90 pages.

8. Medical devices (any lab equipment)
9. Monitoring and control equipment
10. Automatic dispensers.
